4 years of relationship finally coming to a point we always dreamt of, we always discussed about. And the day arrived when we would be getting engaged. It was a wonderful feeling. No matter how organised you have been in your life, things are bound to happen till the 11th hour. The vibe in the house started pumping up with the relatives and guests coming in. As the time started coming nearer, we literally experienced what butterflies in the stomach meant for the first time.

Finally we met at the venue and the moment I saw her I was like, “My God, she is looking so pretty.” We had planned to reach the venue before time so we could click some good pictures during the sunset time. While the rest of the things were taken care by family members and friends, we did a nice photoshoot with our beloved sunset. From the point of reconsidering our relationship in the year 2020 to the point of actually getting engaged, witnessing sunset has been our special thing.

And the moment arrived when the actual rituals started. We decided, now onwards we would just live in this moment and leave the rest of the things to be managed by friends and family. Having such a wonderful and helpful circle we really didn't have to worry about anything at all. The engagement ceremony was proceeding smoothly. With every guest arriving and waving at us from a distance, it started to broaden our smile. So if the photos have come good, the credit goes to the guests who made us smile and of course the photography team :D

Ever since we got back together, there was one thing I always thought I would say in front of everyone when we would exchange the ring. The time arrived when the rings came and everyone was eagerly awaiting to witness the moment, so I asked for a mic. I was a little nervous because I always picturised this moment in my mind. Keeping all the thoughts aside, I finally said it…

AND WE WERE ENGAGED!!!

What a feeling! It just can’t be described in words. Followed by engagement was our Sangeet Ceremony. Some of our cousins, friends and family members did such wholehearted performances. These days people look to get perfection in their performances since we wish to share it on social platforms. But we genuinely felt that this was no India's got talent, what mattered is after all the hustle, our family is enjoying every bit of the ceremony. It’s absolutely fine to goof up with the steps and do something spontaneously. What truly matters is how much you enjoy it. And we could see everyone enjoying it to the core.
